I decided to remove all automatic clickable e-mail links from my web pages to cut down on Spam and possibly viruses, worms, etc. corrupting my computer. This means you have to type the words listed above in your e-mail program ( on the TO: line ) to send me an e-mail. I cannot do it from my page now for you.
Also, kindly do NOT leave the Subject line blank when sending me an e-mail. I may delete it as junk e-mail by accident without reading it. Please say briefly what the e-mail is about on the Subject line.
My apology for this inconvenience but Spam, as you know, is a BIG problem and it will get worse and worse unless we do something about it. Reports show that Spam is 50% to 80% of all messages ( up from about 8% in 2001 ). Since I did this, I have had very little Spam for the above address.
F.Y. I.: There should be NO POP-UPS while visiting this site! If you get any, your browser has been hijacked and / or you have Spyware / Adware and / or a virus on your machine.
NOTE: I may reply to you with a different e-mail address. Some Spam blocking programs may block my reply since my new address is not in your Address Book folder. I will always use the same information you type on the Subject line so you know it is not Spam when I reply. With some programs, you may have to accept my e-mail before you can read it. Your service provider should have told you about this procedure.

Spider programs are on the web searching for e-mail addresses. Spider programs cannot read just the words above without the HTML tags on my pages. The result is less and less Internet e-mail clogging so that the good wanted e-mail get through faster and the junk e-mail is reduced.
Clickable e-mail links from a web page have imbedded HTML tags. There are many Spider programs on the web searching for these tags and the e-mail address. The program records the address and the tags. This information can then be put on a CD. Companies sell the CD to mass e-mailers including people who send Spam. The result is more and more Spam ( from unwanted get-rich-quick schemes to porno sites etc. ).
NOTE: ...E-mail filters are good but work only temporarily and not 100% of the time because the Spamers change procedures often. Also, I would not reply to a Spam message because it tells them the address is a good one and you will get more and more Spam.
This includes NOT clicking on the "remove" link unless you know the company well and you are positive they will remove it from their list. However, they may still sell your information to somebody.
So, be careful.
